Job summary

Micron Solutions is seeking an Inspection Team Lead in Fitchburg, MA to guide the inspection team and perform hands-on mechanical inspections using precision metrology tools. You will interpret drawings, GD&T, and BOM requirements while ensuring quality objectives and production schedules are met.

The role requires 5+ years in regulated manufacturing, strong GD&T skills, and experience with CMMs/vision systems. FDA/ISO13485/GMP knowledge is preferred, with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMs, Vision Systems, Optical Comparators and related inspection technologies.
• Experience reviewing Device History Records (DHRs) and quality documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inspection priorities and workflow to support production schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on inspection methods and GD&T.
• Lead inspection activities as a working lead and support QA objectives.
• Review quality records and support CAPA and internal audits.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues.
