KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing seeks a Mechanical Foreman to lead field crews on industrial projects in Texas. You will transform drawings and work packages into daily plans, coordinate with multiple trades, and ensure safety, quality, schedule, and turnover requirements are met.

You will review drawings, plan tasks, conduct safety talks, verify installations, and track progress while maintaining documentation and site housekeeping. Local travel is required.

Competenze

• 8+ years of industrial mechanical construction experience, including 3+ years leading crews.
• Experience with piping, rotating and static equipment, structural supports, rigging, hydrotesting, and mechanical completion.
• Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, equipment drawings, specifications, and construction schedules.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and ASME/API standards for the work.
• Strong field leadership, planning, production tracking, and problem-solving skills.

• Plan daily and weekly work for crews and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, specifications, isometrics, P&IDs, and schedules.
• Lead pre-task planning, safety talks, and field hazard reviews.
• Assign crews, targets, fronts, and tool/equipment needs.
• Coordinate mechanical work with other trades and teams.
• Verify dimensions, alignment, and installation before turnover.
• Track hours, quantities, and material flow; report daily field progress.
• Ensure welding, bolting, rigging, testing, and installations follow procedures.
• Identify conflicts and route RFIs and changes through controls.
• Maintain housekeeping and protection of completed work.
• Support walkdowns, punch lists, testing, and turnover to commissioning.
