Job summary

ClearBridge Executive Search in Seattle, WA seeks an Engineering Manager, Mechanical Equipment to lead a team of mechanical engineers in designing capital equipment and material handling systems. You will stay hands-on with large-scale equipment while guiding technical direction and project execution.

The role requires experience leading mechanical teams, strong CAD skills (Inventor/SolidWorks/AutoCAD), and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. Seattle area opportunity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing industrial machinery or capital equipment.
• Experience leading mechanical engineering teams.
• Strong CAD skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers.
• Provide technical direction and design oversight for complex equipment.
• Oversee mechanical design of conveyors, stackers, and related systems.
• Collaborate with PM, Operations, Controls, Sales, and Manufacturing to ensure production readiness.
• Review and approve designs, calculations, layouts, and specs.
• Drive best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement.
