Job summary

CRW Engineering Group in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with PE to lead HVAC design for building projects from concept through construction documents.

You will work with clients and designers, plan scope and budgets, mentor junior engineers, and occasionally travel to remote Alaska communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Professional Engineer license (Alaska) or ability to obtain within six months.
• At least six years in mechanical engineering with HVAC design responsibility.
• Ability to move work forward independently and communicate decisions clearly.
• Mentoring and building relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of building projects, HVAC systems from concept to construction documents and support.
• Design and coordinate heating, ventilation, cooling, plumbing, and building control systems.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to resolve design challenges.
• Plan mechanical scope, schedules, and budgets with project leaders.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
