Job summary

CRW Engineering Group, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a mission-driven Electrical Engineer (PE) to design electrical systems for federal, municipal, and industrial projects.

You’ll lead projects from concept through construction, mentor junior engineers, and perform field inspections in arctic and rural conditions. The ideal candidate has a PE license (RCDD preferred), 4+ years in power, telecom, and control systems, and proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• RCDD certification preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with Lighting and facility controls, Telecommunication, Power generation/distribution, Pumping systems and industrial controls, Water/wastewater, lighting, telecom, and controls; UFC/USGS standards, Arctic design, and hazardous locations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement electrical systems for Federal, municipal, and industrial projects
• Lead project phases from concept through construction
• Mentor junior engineers and delegate technical work
• Conduct inspections and field visits
• Coordinate across disciplines and with external stakeholders
• Stay on top of codes, standards, and best practices for Arctic and rural conditions
