Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Svcs LLC in Ogden, UT is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to provide on-site mechanical engineering support for a manufacturing and chemical processing facility serving the commercial nuclear power industry. You will lead design and implementation, coordinate capital projects, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or chemical plant.
• Proficient in AutoDesk and ANSYS, preferred.
• Working knowledge of ASME codes.
• Leadership experience in projects from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical engineering support for manufacturing and chemical operations and maintenance.
• Lead design and implementation of new or modified systems, including specification, installation, testing and qualification.
• Coordinate capital projects with cross-functional teams, developing charters, plans, schedules and budgets.
• Address customer and regulatory requirements and prepare technical papers and presentations.
