Qualifications

• Requires professional engineering degree with ABET accreditation or equivalent.
• Must be licensed or in a pathway to licensure (PE/EI/EIT).
• Experience leading engineering teams and providing field engineering services for combat systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for engineering requirements on surface ship/submarine combat systems.
• Troubleshoot Combat Systems equipment including circuit analysis.
• Develop and implement shipyard training programs for non-nuclear work.
• Conduct independent engineering studies for complex problems.
• Lead oversight during installation, grooming, or testing phases.
• Create technical risk assessments and cost estimates for work.
• Translate customer work scopes into Task Group Instructions.
