Top Echelon Software, LLC seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support steelmaking operations in a heavy industrial setting. You will troubleshoot equipment on the plant floor, develop specifications, manage contractors, and lead capital projects from concept through completion.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in steelmaking or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience with melting equipment, furnaces, or steelmaking operations is highly desirable.
• Experience with large baghouse or environmental systems is desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to manage capital projects, equipment installations, and contractors.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, improve, and optimize mechanical and hydraulic systems across the facility.
• Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to raise uptime and efficiency.
• Support melting and steelmaking equipment upgrades, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Provide engineering input for baghouse and environmental systems compliance.
• Manage capital and facility improvement projects from concept to completion.
• Develop scopes, specifications, bid packages, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving.
• Ensure projects meet budgets, safety requirements, and performance targets.
• Travel locally and internationally as needed for project support.
