Job summary

Elevate Human Capital seeks a seasoned Mechanical Engineer in Magnolia, TX for a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead design efforts, develop construction documents for HVAC, piping, and related systems, and coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients from design through construction.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in MEP, a P.E. license, and strong BIM/Revit skills, with knowledge of ASHRAE and IBC codes. Travel may be required across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• P.E. license required.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design in MEP.
• BIM/drafting software proficiency (AutoCAD, Revit).
• Lead Mechanical Engineer on projects.
• Know US codes and standards (IMC, UMC, ASHRAE, IPC, IBC).
• Construction administration and project execution experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents and drawings for mechanical systems.
• Manage design projects with QC reviews and coordination.
• Support construction administration activities on projects.
• Monitor multiple projects and provide technical guidance.
• Translate design concepts into construction docs accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrate leadership, project management, and organization.
• Travel to project sites within the United States as required.
