Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Seven Hills, OH, to design and develop highly customizable electro-mechanical equipment and load banks from requirements through manufacturing support.

You will lead technical decisions on long-tenure projects, collaborating with Sales, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, Assembly, Procurement, and Test teams to ensure cost-effective, manufacturable solutions delivered on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• At least 5 years of electro-mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D CAD; SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and develop mechanical solutions that meet customer needs.
• Lead technical decisions on complex projects.
• Produce accurate drawings and design documentation.
• Manage BOMs to support manufacturing and procurement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Electrical Engineering, Drafting, Assembly, and Test teams.
