Job summary

Top Echelon LLC seeks a Lead Mechanical Engineer for its Boston-area office to lead the mechanical group on pharmaceutical and biotech facilities, including aseptic processing and central utility plants.

The role focuses on HVAC and process support system design for cGMP spaces, load calculations, and serving as engineer of record while mentoring a team of about ten engineers and coordinating with process, electrical, architecture, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license (PE) is required.
• Significant mechanical design experience in pharma/biotech facilities with hands-on cGMP work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design on pharmaceutical and biotech projects.
• Mentor and develop the mechanical engineering team (≈10 people).
• Coordinate with process, electrical, architecture and commissioning teams.
