Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design of weight and size sensitive assemblies.
• Strong CAD skills with robust parametric g and top-down modeling.
• Experience with PDM tools and configuration control practices.
• Experience with battery, motor, and UAV propulsion systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design of lightweight, high‑performance systems and subsystems.
• Manage large part count assemblies in CAD and PLM with BOMs and drawings.
• Use FEA, prototyping and testing to ensure durability and manufacturability.
• Lead design reviews, coordinate with suppliers and production teams.
• Create design data from concept to sustainment and support engineering changes.
