Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design of weight and size sensitive assemblies.
• Strong CAD skills and robust top-down modeling with parametric design.
• Experience with PDM/PLM and configuration control.
• SolidWorks expertise preferred; UAV propulsion experience a plus.
• Ability to lead technical projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own designation and integration of system and subsystem designs.
• Manage large assemblies in CAD and PLM with BOM traceability.
• Optimize for aerodynamic profiles and efficiency.
• Apply FEA, prototyping, and testing for durability and manufacturability.
• Develop tests to validate design across environments.
• Ensure DFx alignment and smooth transition to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Provide training and troubleshoot design issues with production.
