Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in mechanical design within packaging machinery/automation.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably Autodesk Inventor.
• Knowledge of machine design, frames, pneumatics, and automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead redesign and modernization of machinery platforms for performance improvements.
• Develop mechanical systems for automated packaging applications (motion, sealing, handling).
• Create 3D models, drawings, and complete documentation packages.
• Drive standardization to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with electrical, controls, automation, manufacturing, quality, and service teams.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, validation, and product improvement.
