Qualifications

• FDNY certifications and Refrigeration license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and motivates a technical team on maintenance tasks for complex campus infrastructure.
• Maintains energy-efficient operation of mechanical and utility systems.
• Provides status updates to stakeholders on projects.
• Develops scope of work, sources materials, and coordinates vendors.
• Oversees contractors and monitors performance.
• Performs routine inspections of campus systems to ensure quality work.
• Evaluates impact of planned/emergency shutdowns and schedules them.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and NYC certifications.
• Cross-covers supervisory roles in other trades when needed.
