Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years engineering experience in automotive, aerospace, energy storage, or related industries.
• 3+ years designing lithium-ion battery packs or related tech.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of advanced Li-ion battery packs.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines for key decisions.
• Identify challenges, develop solutions, and communicate impacts.
• Develop CAD models, prototypes, and technical presentations.
• Create BOMs, assembly procedures, and installation docs.
• Perform detailed design analysis, modeling, and simulations.
• Support prototype builds, manufacturing, validation, and testing.
• Verify hardware and software meet system requirements and standards.
