Sortation Labs, LLC seeks a technical lead to design and develop parcel sortation and material handling systems. You will lead bids and projects from concept through execution, aligning designs with customer requirements, safety regulations, and internal engineering standards.

Responsibilities include creating layouts in AutoCAD and Inventor, performing system calculations, generating ROM cost estimates, coordinating across teams, and guiding installation through commissioning while maintaining

Formación

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years in conveyance, construction, systems engineering, or project engineering with exposure to cost estimating and proposal development.
Proficiency in CAD Software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar).
Experienced use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Project).
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

Serve as the technical lead on bids and projects, ensuring designs meet customer requirements, safety regulations, and internal engineering standards.
Design automated parcel sortation and material handling system layouts from concept to detailed designs.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain design consistency and compliance with engineering standards.
Engage with customers to confirm site-specific requirements are captured and addressed.
Create and review detailed engineering designs, system calculations, and layout drawings.
Develop ROM costing and preliminary equipment lists for early-stage proposals.
Produce drawing sets in AutoCAD and Inventor to support proposals and planning.
Coordinate design and estimating with internal and external partners as the primary technical contact.
