Introduction: An established construction company in greater Portland is seeking a Lead Mechanic/Maintenance Manager to service their fleet of heavy-duty vehicles/equipment and oversee shop operations five days a week. What You’ll Do:
- Manage all aspects of maintenance and repair for heavy construction equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and procedures for equipment longevity.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies ensuring availability for repair work.
What You Bring:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance and management.
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components and the functionality of heavy machinery.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team building and mentoring.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Competitive Base Salary from $100,000 - $130,000 DOE
