What You’ll Do

As a Lead Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on diesel, propane, and gas-powered vehicles and equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
Inspect, repair, and assemble mechanical components
Maintain service records, inventory, and order parts as needed
Provide guidance on preventative maintenance procedures
Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades
Ensure vehicles meet inspection standards
Occasionally lift/carry materials up to 50 lbs

What You’ll Need

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in a similar role
2+ years of experience with diesel tractors and trailers
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and follow repair documentation
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Strong communication and customer service skills
Vocational or trade school certification a plus
