Sam’s Club Evans, part of Walmart Inc., is hiring a Senior Meat Cutter to drive meat sales and support club operations. You will collaborate with associates to meet member expectations, process meat per specifications, and ensure food safety and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department.

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources while delivering customer service and maintaining schedules.
• Maintain knowledge of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping).
• Use handheld technology to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, while training others to adapt to new tools.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and proper packaging/labeling of merchandise.
• Drive profitability and operational excellence, maintain a clean work area, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
• Foster teamwork, model high quality service, and provide training to peers as needed.
