Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Sector - ARS PDCA division seeks a Lead Custom Order Designer onsite at the Fayetteville facility. You will provide mechanical design and documentation support for MCC product lines, collaborating with engineers and manufacturing staff, using design automation software, and producing manufacturing documentation.

The role focuses on MCC order design requirements with some interface to sales and customers. Relocation assistance is available for US residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years relevant experience or an associate's degree or higher.
• Sponsorship: Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze schematic diagrams to determine mechanical design requirements and layouts.
• Manage Manufacturing and Engineering Change Notices.
• Demonstrate advanced computer skills with required software (AutoCAD, Design Automation, MAPICS, Bid Manager).
• Interpret work packages to develop mechanical design and manufacturing information packages.
• Coordinate with different levels of the organization to meet schedules.
• Conduct detailed BOM reviews for editing and accuracy.
• Handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Systems and programs (ISO 9000-2000, ISO 14001, UL, NEMA).
• Participate in other Eaton programs (EBS, MESH).
• Other duties as required.
