Job summary

KBR is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer / Systems Architect for the Modular Weapons GRA at Eglin AFB, FL. This role focuses on advancing MBSE practices, SysML-based architectures, and modular data packages to enable competition, faster integration, and scalable production across weapon programs.

You will collaborate with government and industry engineers to deliver executable, open architecture solutions.

Qualifications

Experience applying MBSE concepts to complex DoD/aerospace programs.
Expertise using SysML to develop architectures, interfaces, and model-based baselines.
Ability to translate architecture decisions into executable recommendations for leaders.
Experience developing modular data packages and reusable architecture libraries.

Responsibilities

Serve as principal systems engineer and architect for evolving Weapons GRA and WOSA.
Communicate architecture concepts and tradeoffs to government and industry engineers.
Lead MBSE efforts to define parameters, interfaces, and data packages.
Augment the Weapons GRA framework for reuse across air force programs.
Define structure, requirements, and acceptance criteria for data packages.
Develop architecture viewpoints, requirements relationships, and reference patterns.
