Job summary

Mathnasium is hiring educators to teach math to students in a flexible, after-school schedule. You will lead small groups, assess progress, and communicate student growth to parents while using the Mathnasium Method.

Ideal candidates are high school or college students with a passion for math, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn. Work is available 3–5 days per week, typically 3.30pm–7.30pm, with weekends also possible.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained in teaching methods.
• Strong math competency in Algebra I, Algebra II, Trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work with team members to provide instruction in a group setting.
• Assess learning progress and engagement during sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents/guardians.
• Teach/tutor in-center, online, or hybrid delivery using Mathnasium Method.
• Become proficient with digital learning materials and processes.
• Maintain a safe and professional learning environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
