Job summary

Mathnasium in Milton, Georgia is seeking Lead Instructors to transform the lives of K-12 students. You will enjoy a rewarding opportunity with consistent, part-time hours after school and weekends in a fun, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for math, excellent interpersonal skills, and be eager to learn. Responsibilities include leading instructional sessions and communicating progress with parents, all while using the Mathnasium Method.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eager to learn and receive training.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.
• Pursuit of math literacy test for proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with Mathnasium Instructors for individualized instruction.
• Assess students’ learning progress during sessions.
• Communicate student progress to parents and guardians.
• Teach in-center or online using Mathnasium methods.
• Become proficient with educational materials and processes.

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with Mathnasium Instructors to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians
• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method terminology and teaching practices
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
