Job summary

Mathnasium of Huntersville is seeking a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor to join our after-school program. You will lead, coach, and collaborate with teammates to deliver engaging, individualized instruction in a group setting, using the Mathnasium Method.

This role offers part-time hours after school and on weekends, with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training. You will work in-center and online to support students' learning journeys.

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with kids.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.
• Experience with teaching or tutoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
• Communicate student progress with parents and guardians.
• Teach in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
