Job Description Summary

The Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and within departments) according to production schedules for the assigned part family group. You will plan and schedule material and production needs, impacting departmental operations. This role has some autonomy but primarily focuses on executing activities within standard functional practices and procedures.

This position can be located in Evendale, OH or Asheville, NC.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Manage master planning, material processes, and systems; prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
  2. Ensure operational alignment with production plans and KPIs.
  3. Optimize inventory levels and implement process improvements.
  4. Utilize experience and technical expertise to execute policies and strategies.
Required Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing, materials, production planning, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
  2. Alternatively, GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience.
