Job description

Job Title: Operating Room Materials Coordinator

Assists the O.R. Materials Manager to ensure the overall efficiency and functionality of the O.R. supply system. Responsibilities include ordering, tracking, and handling discrepancies for all non-stock specialty supplies. Tracks all O.R. supplies, equipment, instruments, and repairs throughout the supply chain and resolves discrepancies as needed. Develops productive relationships with O.R. staff and other hospital departments to ensure the efficiency of the O.R. supply system.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Experience

• 5 Years experience in a related position or an equivalent combination of acceptable post-High School training and experience (Required)
• General experience and knowledge of automated materials management systems (Required)
