Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Sr. Materials Handler to lead stock control, receive and distribute materials, and supervise Materials Handlers in a full-time day/night role.

The department emphasizes accurate inventory, compliance with storage standards, and efficient replenishment of supplies. The position requires prior distribution of medical supplies, a valid driver's license, and experience with a Materials Management System.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the distribution of medical supplies preferred.
• Prior driving delivery and/or medical transport experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs lead responsibility in receiving, inspection for damage, match quantities/quality to PO, delivers, and moves materials.
• Serves in a lead role for various initiatives.
• Assists storeroom supervisor/manager in maintaining stock levels.
• Provides replenishment of supplies to par locations accurately and timely.
• Checks received supplies for accuracy and stores them correctly.
