Job summary

Engineering-Services- is seeking a materials handler/ forklift operator to lead the outside material handling team. The role involves moving products between buildings, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventory using the company computer system.

Responsibilities include organizing materials, reporting forklift maintenance needs, and ensuring safety compliance with OSHA rules. High school diploma preferred; forklift certification required.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified through company related training.
• Knowledge of general material handling practices and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, banders and hoists.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Outside Material Handlers and direct work activities.
• Move products between buildings as directed by Receiving Manager.
• Receive materials outside and maintain accurate inventory in the company system.
• Store products between buildings and load/unload trucks both outside and inside the Weld Shop.
• Assist with organizing materials and report maintenance issues on forklifts or combi’s.
