Canadian Executive Search Group (USA) Inc / Division of Arrow Group of Companies in Birmingham, AL is seeking an experienced Lead Master Scheduler to oversee the full-facility production schedule and to lead five schedulers. The role focuses on scheduling accuracy, forecast development, and timely delivery in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

Candidate must have hands-on production scheduling experience, SAP/MRP (PP/MM) proficiency, and strong forecasting and Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on manufacturing production scheduling experience.
• Experience scheduling production lines in a manufacturing environment.
• Logistics, warehouse, transportation, or distribution scheduling experience alone will not qualify.
• SAP/MRP experience including PP and MM; WM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the plant-wide production schedule and lead five schedulers.
• Review orders, backlog, capacity, and material availability to maintain schedules.
• Manage past-due orders and develop recovery plans.
• Build production forecasts using backlog, safety stock, and data.
• Identify production risks and adjust schedule, committed date, and lead times.
• Monitor KPIs: schedule attainment, on-time delivery, forecast accuracy, past-due reduction.
• Partner with Materials, Production and other departments to improve delivery performance.
