Job summary

MS Companies Inc. in Leeds, AL seeks a Lead Master Scheduler to own the full plant schedule for a make-to-order/e ngineer-to-order environment. You will lead five schedulers, review orders daily, and manage SAP-based planning to recover past-due orders and hitting KPI targets.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, forecasting accuracy, and strong leadership. Onsite schedule ~40 hours/week with occasional overtime; relocation considered for the right fit.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling production lines in discrete manufacturing.
• Hands-on SAP MM/PP; WM preferred; able to discuss T-codes for material master, planning, MRP, work orders and data corrections.
• Experience leading planners or schedulers, including coaching and coverage.
• Forecasting, capacity planning and ownership of schedule attainment.
• Advanced Excel and ability to present KPIs in PowerPoint.
• Onsite Monday–Friday, ~7:30am–4:30pm or 8:00am–5:00pm; occasional overtime.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire plant production schedule and lead five schedulers.
• Review new sales orders and schedule additions daily; keep shipment dates current.
• Work past-due orders and SAP exception messages; implement recovery plans.
• Build the production forecast from planned units per day, backlog and safety-stock gaps.
• Recommend changes to committed dates and lead times with data when needed.
• Review SAP master data and propose corrections; deliver monthly KPIs.
• Support cross-functional schedule meetings and continuous-improvement forums.
