Job summary

Mesabi Metallics Company LLC is seeking a seasoned Scheduling Lead to own and manage the integrated master schedule for the Mesabi ISP Project, covering EPCC activities. You will ensure schedule integrity, critical path visibility, and proactive risk identification across disciplines and contractors.

The role requires extensive experience with Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, and earned value management, with a track record of coordinating multi-contractor schedules on large industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 15–20 years of experience in project scheduling and planning on large EPC projects.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, WBS, and earned value management.
• Experience integrating multi-contractor schedules on complex projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with EPC contractors, project controls, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the integrated master project schedule for EPCC activities.
• Establish scheduling standards, WBS, and progress measurement.
• Consolidate schedules from EPCs, subcontractors, vendors into a master schedule.
• Perform critical path analysis, risk assessments, and what-if scenarios.
• Track progress against baselines and report variances to leadership.
• Coordinate with project controls, cost engineering, and procurement for alignment.
• Prepare schedule status reports, look-ahead schedules, and executive summaries.
• Support schedule recovery planning for delays.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain baselines, manage change control, ensure documentation.
• Provide scheduling input for contracts, milestones, and claims analysis.
• Mentor junior planning staff.
