Job summary

The position requires five years of journey locksmith experience, bonds, a valid driver’s license, and ongoing license maintenance, plus the ability to pass objective bench or field tests while supporting a diverse campus community.

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time journey locksmith experience.
• Knowledge of Brown University lock and key policies and procedures.
• Bondable.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must maintain required license(s) as a condition of employment.
• Bench test and/or field test will be required.
• Willingness to support a diverse and inclusive campus community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work with locksmiths in the repair, installation, and construction of locking devices and keys.
• Respond to campus emergencies, including during and off shift.
• Maintain familiarity with Brown University's security policies and procedures.
