Qualifications

• Five years' full time experience as journeyman locksmith.
• Thorough knowledge of Brown University lock and key policies and procedures.
• Capable of being bonded.
• Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
• Must maintain required license(s) as a condition of employment.
• Willingness to support a diverse and inclusive campus community.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds unassisted; and to walk throughout the campus and climb stairs for the duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work with locksmiths on repairs, installations, and construction of locks and keys.
• Respond to campus emergencies during and off shift as an essential employee.
• Maintain operations of campus facilities security systems and related hardware.
