Job summary

Saint Paul College seeks a skilled Master Electrician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, plumbing, heating, and related construction tasks. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and adherence to applicable contracts and vendor performance.

You will lead electrical maintenance projects, keep meticulous records, ensure work is up to code, and support safety programs.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with Minnesota State Board of Electricity as a Class A Master Electrician.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in trades work to assist skilled trades staff.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a scheduled electrical maintenance program for efficient operation.
• Plan, perform and lead electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance projects.
• Maintain an established record-keeping system for equipment maintained.
• Perform construction work to ensure systems are up to code and operational.
• Perform other repairs, maintenance, or construction projects as directed.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and safety policies; participate in required trainings.
