City of Saint Paul is seeking a licensed Electrician to perform electrical work involving construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, and communication systems that support critical public infrastructure such as traffic signals and streetlights.

This full-time role involves work on high- and low-voltage equipment, requires a valid CDL with air brake endorsement, DOT safety compliance, and the ability to work day or evening shifts with occasional after-hours

Competenze

• Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and random testing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and safety standards.

About the Role

The City of Saint Paul is seeking a licensed Electrician to perform electrical work involving the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, and communication systems. This role supports critical public infrastructure, including traffic signals, streetlights, and other City-operated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and communication systems.
• Work on high- and low-voltage electrical equipment, fiber optic systems, transformers, control panels, and microprocessors.
• Install and maintain traffic signals, streetlights, pumps, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Operate aerial lifts, ladders, and specialized tools safely.
• Perform facility electrical construction, maintenance, and repair.

Qualifications
