Job summary

HELP Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Master Electrician to lead electrical operations across service, install, and project work. You will manage electricians and apprentices, ensure code compliance, and deliver high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and operational excellence, with a focus on mentoring your team, coordinating with sales and estimating, and driving efficiency on diverse residential jobs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical experience with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Valid Master Electrician License (as required by state/local regulations).
• Experience with field service software (e.g., Service Titan or similar).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and installation practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• A current and valid driver's license in the state where you will work.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, physical, and lift test (lift up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support a team of electricians and apprentices.
• Oversee daily electrical operations, including service calls and installation projects.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Perform job site inspections and quality control checks.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to improve technical skills and performance.
• Assist with troubleshooting complex electrical issues and escalations.
• Partner with sales and estimating teams on job scope, bids, and project planning.
• Manage scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor job costs, labor productivity, and overall department performance.
• Enforce safety standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of electrical staff.
