Cloverdale Automotive Inc. in Cloverdale, CA is seeking a skilled A-Level Auto Mechanic / Lead Master Technician to join a family-minded shop known for quality work and honest service.

You will diagnose across many makes, mentor junior techs, and lead heavy-line repairs with a focus on customer trust and long-term career growth in a supportive team environment. Requires 5–8+ years in a shop, ASE A1–A8, and a complete tools set.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• A1–A8 ASE certifications desirable or willingness to obtain.
• Master Technician status is a major plus.
• Experience with a broad range of vehicle makes (Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda, etc.).
• Own a complete, professional-grade tool set and diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record; ability to lift 60+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• All-makes diagnostics including drivability, CAN-bus, and electrical issues.
• Perform major mechanical overhauls and heavy-line repairs.
• Utilize aftermarket scanners and info systems to diagnose efficiently.
• Mentor B- and C-Level technicians and maintain shop workflow.
• Explain complex issues clearly to service advisors and customers.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship to protect shop reputation.
