Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, seeks a Lead Maintenance Tech with senior auto tech expertise to lead shop personnel and perform advanced repairs. You’ll diagnose, repair brakes, drivability, electrical systems and oversee quality control while mentoring junior techs.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 7am-3:30pm. Benefits include competitive pay, sign-on and tool bonuses, healthcare, 401(k) with company match, and substantial paid time off. ASE certs and a HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
• Ability to service and repair a wide range of vehicles including standard, automatic and electric.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide shop personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform level 1–3 auto tech duties.
• Repair brakes, drivability, steering, suspension, electrical, and engine work.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and complete repairs.
• Perform clutch and transmission replacements.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety procedures.
