Sherman's Auto Repairs in Tucker, GA is seeking a Lead Master "A" Automotive Technician to take a leadership role in a fast-paced shop. You will perform advanced diagnostics and repairs, mentor junior techs, and ensure top-quality work across engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and drivetrains.

Your expertise with diagnostic tools, OEM standards, and a customer-focused mindset will help drive efficiency and accuracy in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• ASE Master Technician certification or equivalent "+A" level experience required.
• 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools, scan tools, and repair software.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and foreign vehicle systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a high-volume shop environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-quality-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on complex repair procedures.
• Execute engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and drivetrain repairs with precision.
• Utilize diagnostic scan tools and software to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
• Conduct thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors.
• Ensure all repairs meet or exceed OEM and industry quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay in compliance with shop safety protocols.
