Equinox is seeking a Lead Massage Therapist to join our team in New York. The role focuses on delivering high-quality spa experiences, greeting members, and orienting clients to our facilities.

You will manage staff, oversee operations, and drive business goals while performing up to 20 treatments weekly. Strong leadership, customer service, and team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid NY Massage Therapy License.
• Management or leadership experience.
• Enthusiasm and possession of excellent customer service skills.
• Must enjoy working with people with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Able to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and money handling skills.
• Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire and coach staff members
• Outreach marketing for the spa
• Manage daily operations including inventory management, client relationships, and driving the business to achieve financial goals and budgets
• Perform up to 20 treatments per week
• Provide orientation tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering guests' questions
• Provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features, and hours of operation
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programming promotions.
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the locker/facility area

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Lead Massage Therapist to join the Equinox team! This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.

The Lead Massage Therapist is responsible to help ensure a memorable experience for our members and clients. This includes greeting members as they enter the facilities, orienting spa clients to the spa facilities, and providing services to clients.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:

• Must possess a valid NY Massage Therapy License

Pay Transparency: $48.50 per session, $20.00/hr (non session work), ability to earn bonus pay
