Job summary

Foth is seeking a Lead Marine Structural Engineer to serve as the technical lead and designer on waterfront and coastal projects. This role involves supporting the planning, engineering, and construction of shoreline protection, stabilization, and marine structures.

The successful candidate will perform coastal condition calculations, structural analyses, and develop construction documents, while also identifying and implementing the latest design technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• PE License or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with developing construction documents (plans & specs).
• Master’s Degree preferred; 15+ years in coastal/environmental engineering or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and designer on coastal, waterfront, and marine projects.
• Perform coastal condition calculations and structural analyses for shoreline protection systems.
• Lead development of construction documents (plans and specs) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
