Job summary

Integrity Staffing Services in the Hampton Roads area seeks an experienced Lead Sheetmetal Mechanic to support ship repair and marine fabrication projects. The role directs a small crew, interprets drawings, and performs hands-on sheetmetal installation aboard vessels and in shipyards.

Night shift requires leadership, a strong sheetmetal background, and the ability to coordinate work to keep the crew productive and on schedule, including overtime and weekends as project schedules require.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of shipyard experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Hands-on sheetmetal fabrication and installation.
• Experience with stud shooting, welding, and metal forming preferred.
• Must work nights, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of four mechanics and stay hands-on.
• Read blueprints and determine layout and installation.
• Perform marine sheetmetal fabrication, repair, and installation.
• Fabricate and install to exact specifications.
• Coordinate work to meet schedule.
