Job summary

Q.E.D. Systems is seeking a Senior Engineering Marine Mechanical Specialist to support U.S. Navy waterfront operations at Naval Base Norfolk. You will oversee maintenance, repair, testing, and prototyping of marine mechanical systems on various small boats and craft.

The role requires seven years of hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydrodynamic systems, and marine propulsion, plus the ability to lead mechanical teams, follow drawings, and coordinate parts and certifications.

Qualifications

• Seven years of small watercraft mechanical experience required.
• Experience in testing, maintenance, and repairs of marine systems.
• Experience leading a mechanical support team.
• Ability to read technical drawings for repairs and parts.
