Job summary

Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Estimator to lead the technical and commercial development of bids for marine and heavy civil projects. The role focuses on creating competitive estimates, coordinating teams, and guiding proposals from strategy to submission.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years estimating, 7+ years in field engineering/logistics, and strong knowledge of marine means and methods. Office-based with site visits and business development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering or construction management preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years estimating experience; 7+ years in field engineering/logistics.
• 5+ years marine construction experience and knowledge of dams, bridges, docks, wharves.
• Experience in public and private sector bids up to $20 million.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and manage bids and proposal opportunities.
• Lead technical bids and proposals from strategy through submission.
• Prepare schedules and write technical narratives for proposals.
• Coordinate pursuit strategy and manage bid teams to deliver compliant submittals.
• Attend site visits and ensure smooth handoffs to operations.
