Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking an experienced manufacturing supervisor to lead Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale within their daily production area. You will manage manpower, training, and production processes to meet specifications and schedules, while driving 1st Time Quality and ISO compliance.

Responsibilities include coaching teams, enforcing policies, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional areas to reach department metrics. Location: Mount Holly, NC.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required or equivalent experience in manufacturing leadership.
• Experience coordinating and leading teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage production schedules, staffing, quality and through-put.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate manpower to meet daily department needs.
• Ensure training goals are met for staffing flexibility.
• Enforce company work rules, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to union contract requirements and resolve related issues.
• Lead continuous improvement across the area of responsibility.
• Coach and develop team leaders to align with plant goals.
• Ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance and data-driven problem solving.
• Monitor safety and environmental policies in daily inspections.
