Job summary

MANTECH is looking for a highly talented Manufacturing and Refurbishment Lead Engineer to work in Cape Canaveral, FL. This role involves leading a team to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and engineering processes for launch vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing and must possess an active TS/SCI clearance. Additionally, the position requires strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills to support the U.S. Space Force's mission.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related technical roles.
• Experience with military reuse space program processes or FAA flight maintenance reuse programs.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team for manufacturing oversight of flight products.
• Ensuring compliance with Quality Management systems and processes.
• Providing inputs during government gates and critical technical reviews.
• Coordinating with a team of contractors and vendors in a dynamic environment.
• Delivering accurate weekly and monthly engineering reports to the U.S. Space Force.
• Maintaining exceptional customer communications and 24/7 on-call support.
