Job summary

Club Car seeks a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to drive quality improvements across value streams in a manufacturing setting. You will coach teams on structured problem-solving, lead cross-functional improvement projects, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 quality systems.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, defect prevention, and data-driven decision making to meet KPI targets and support safety and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading and coaching direct reports.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
• Understanding of Lean Principles, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead product quality improvements to eliminate waste and meet organizational goals.
• Coach on the use of structured problem-solving tools: 5 Why, 9‑Step, A3, etc.
• Implement process improvements for safety, quality, and productivity and promote a customer-focused culture.
• Manage and lead the Manufacturing Quality Technicians (direct reports).
• Provide robust countermeasures for root causes leading to quality improvements with focus on defect reduction.
• Apply data-driven analysis to drive continuous improvement activities.
• Facilitate problem solving and root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Drive quality system compliance with Manufacturing and support groups.
• Achieve Manufacturing Quality KPI goals and business initiatives.
• Update document control with Work Instructions and Quality System Procedures.
• Serve as project manager for assigned quality projects.
