Job summary

Pave Talent and our client seek a hands-on engineer to lead the shop-floor engineering from day one in San Diego. You will design in CAD, program CNC machines for wood and metal, and deliver 3D models and full shop drawings to support fabrication.

This on-site, full-time role requires traveling to builds and partner facilities, with a path to grow a team as the program expands. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and PTO.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer with wood/metal experience.
• Able to design, draw, and revise packages for manufacturing.
• Experience leading drafters or build crews is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engineer on every active project: design, drawings, revision control.
• Program and run CNC for wood and cabinet-style work.
• Lead prototypes to repeat production and ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate with clients and suppliers; travel to builds and partner facilities.
