Job summary

Star Staffing is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer for our Benicia, CA facility. The role focuses on shaping production processes for wood products and store fixtures, collaborating with leadership to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and overall operations.

You will own projects, troubleshoot equipment, develop SOPs, support CNC and woodworking equipment, manage preventive maintenance, and help scale capabilities as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process or industrial engineering.
• Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and workmanship standards.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support CNC machinery and woodworking equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Improve material flow, packaging standards, and inventory practices.
• Support safety, OSHA compliance, chemical safety, and environmental reporting.
